Resource Packs
Pixflow Design uses resource packs for large assets and library data. This keeps the core plugin smaller while still making rich templates, community plugins, design systems, and supporting assets available inside the workspace.
What resource packs contain
Section titled “What resource packs contain”Resource packs can include:
- community plugin definitions and example files
- Prototype (HTML) example assets
- Pixflow templates
- Pixflow design systems
- supporting screenshots, manifests, and metadata
Missing packs
Section titled “Missing packs”If a required pack is missing, Pixflow shows the Pixflow resources required gate.
Install the missing packs before using the workspace. The gate should only block users who do not have the required resources installed.
Pack updates
Section titled “Pack updates”Pack updates should not hard-block the workspace. When updated packs are available, Pixflow should show a notification so the user can update when convenient.
Good resource pack checks
Section titled “Good resource pack checks”After installing or updating packs:
- Reload the builder.
- Open the Pixflow workspace.
- Check that community plugins appear.
- Open a community plugin modal.
- Confirm previews, assets, and Replicate this content work.
If the resource gate returns after packs were installed, check the resource pack troubleshooting.
