ACSS
ACSS is a mapped target in the legacy web workflow.
Use it when the destination site already uses Automatic CSS and you want copied Pixflow layouts to use ACSS variables instead of Pixflow variables.
Before copying
Section titled “Before copying”Confirm that:
- ACSS is installed on the destination site
- the site’s ACSS setup is already saved and working
- you have selected ACSS in the Pixflow website framework selector
What happens at copy time
Section titled “What happens at copy time”When you copy with ACSS selected, Pixflow rewrites supported Pixflow variables to ACSS-style variables before the Bricks JSON reaches your clipboard.
Then you paste that output into Bricks as normal.
What this does not do
Section titled “What this does not do”The web workflow does not:
- install ACSS
- configure ACSS
- create plugin mappings
- update pasted layouts later
When to avoid this path
Section titled “When to avoid this path”Avoid ACSS mapping if the destination site is not actually using ACSS.
If you want Pixflow’s own design system instead, use Pixflow Framework and complete its manual imports.
