Install and Update

Fresh install

Install Pixflow Design like any other WordPress plugin:

1. Download the latest Pixflow Design plugin ZIP.
2. Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
3. Upload the ZIP and activate it.
4. Open a Bricks builder page and launch Pixflow.

If required packs are missing, Pixflow shows a resource gate before the workspace is usable.

Updating an existing install

When updating from an older Pixflow plugin, the package may still use the historical pixflow-ai plugin folder for migration compatibility. That does not mean the product is still the old plugin architecture.

After updating:

1. Reload WordPress admin.
2. Open a Bricks builder page.
3. Check the Pixflow settings version.
4. Install or update required resource packs.
5. Update the Local CLI Bridge only if Pixflow reports a bridge update is required.

What updates do not require

Most WordPress-side settings should not force a bridge sync. Theme selection, modal state, resource pack status, and workspace layout live in WordPress.

The bridge should only be involved for Local CLI settings and Local CLI agent detection.
