Allow Browser Access

Pixflow Design connects to the bridge through http://127.0.0.1:7456.

Modern browsers may block a website from talking to a local service unless the user allows it. This is expected browser security behavior.

Chrome is recommended because its local network permission flow is the most predictable.

  1. Open the Bricks builder in Chrome.
  2. Open Pixflow Design.
  3. When Chrome asks whether the site can access your local network or local devices, choose Allow.
  4. If you previously blocked the prompt, open Chrome site settings for the current site, allow local network access, and reload.
  5. Click Reconnect in Pixflow.

Edge uses the same Chromium-style permission model as Chrome.

  1. Open the builder in Edge.
  2. Allow local network access when prompted.
  3. If access was blocked, reset the site permission and reload.

Firefox may not show the same prompt as Chrome.

  1. Open the builder and allow any local access prompt Firefox shows.
  2. If Firefox blocks 127.0.0.1, test the same site in Chrome.
  3. Do not disable global browser security settings just to make Pixflow work.

If Firefox continues blocking the local bridge, use Chrome for Pixflow Design.

Safari can require browser permission and macOS app permission.

  1. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network.
  2. Make sure Safari is allowed to access the local network.
  3. Open the Bricks builder.
  4. Allow any Safari prompt.
  5. Reload and click Reconnect.

Safari can be stricter than Chrome. Chrome is recommended if the bridge must be used reliably across many sites.

When browser access is allowed, Pixflow can call http://127.0.0.1:7456/api/agents from the builder tab and show available Local CLI agents.
